Welcome to 9m Racing

Principal activity in 9m Racing is the development of performance engines for 911s. Our activities have culminated in a range of billet cylinder heads, barrels, steel cranks and rods, valve train components and camshafts, manifolds and ancillaries all designed and manufactured to exacting standards by 9m. Our 4.0 air-cooled normally aspirated 993 /964 engine makes a reliable all day long 460hp, more than a present day Porsche GT3 which is something we are proud of.

Our achievements have not gone unnoticed, our normally aspirated 9m engines power the new Singer Porsche Recreation and we have enquiries from around the world.

Billet Engine Components

For air-cooled turbocharged engines our billet components allow for frankly astronomical power figures though we would argue strongly that the drive-ability of our normally aspirated engines makes them more usable and hence exciting. However for power junkies forced induction has merits we have explored.

911 GT3

We are presently slowly and carefully developing components for water-cooled 911 GT3 engines; when we started our programme Porsche didn't offer an accessible water-cooled 911, road cars used air-cooling and only race exotica like 962s and GT3Rs were water-cooled and then only the cylinder heads . In the interim we have attended to the chassis issues of the GT3 with a range of suspension and braking kits including our new MASSIVE 380mm STEEL rotor kit as a cost effective performant alternative to PCCB.

We have developed supercharger kits for water-cooled Porsches; for the 968 where we upped power to an all day every day 350hp.

9m Racing has a reputation to uphold and does so in competition with our 9m engined 993RS CS comprehensively victorious in the Porsche Sprint Series with Championships Wins in 2006 and 2007 and Class Wins in 2005 and 2008 and our GT3 RS rampant on many track days around the UK and at the ‘Ring.

However we cannot race or sprint all of the cars we build, they aren’t ours after all and also many of our engine kits ship to foreign shores. So we are going to establish an archive of our development works for those inclined to take a closer look
